Where have you travelled and which place was your favourite?
My girlfriend and I gave up our jobs and sold our house to travel around the world. We started off our travels by flying to Johannesburg, South Africa where we took a 1 month tour on Acacia Africa tours. It was basically a overland vehicle that carried about 25 people where we camped, cooked and travelled on, for the whole month. It's definitely the best way to see Africa and a great way to meet other travellers. We set off from Joburg and went through, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and ended our journey in Cape Town. In that month we saw some amazing sights including animals, such as lions, zebra, giraffe, hippo's but to name only a few. Saw how poverty affected communities and landscape that would blow you away. Africa is by far our favourite place to visit out of all the countries we went to.After our tour, we flew over to Singapore for another culture shock. From the extremes of African deserts to a busy metropolis, that was the cleanest city I've ever seen. Singapore is tailored to the shopper. Shopping heaven from electronics to cheap clothes, with multi storey shopping centres on every corner. Here we started our overland tour to Bangkok. On our journey up to Bangkok...
Darren Hayes: Singing Star Wars Praises
Darren Hayes: Singing Star Wars' Praises March 12, 2007[ Darren Hayes: Singing Star Wars' Praises] Even though musician Darren Hayes has lived the life of a rock star as the former lead singer of Savage Garden and a current successful solo artist, he would gladly swap a microphone for a lightsaber."I stalked the casting director of Episode II solidly through my then agent at William Morris for the opportunity to audition to be in the new films," Hayes admits. "Clearly, I've had no acting experience -- but the sweet and generous producer Rick McCallum went out of his way to get me a meeting. I remember sitting in front of casting director Robin Gurland who patiently waited whilst I did my best American accent. She looked at me puzzled and said, 'What do you imagine yourself doing?' I thought for a second and said, 'Look, I'll do anything. I'll play a rock, a tree, a dead Wookiee -- ANYTHING!' She laughed and made some comment about this bizarre male obsession with Star Wars. She said, 'What IS it with you boys and Star Wars?' Needless to say I don't appear in the credits but auditioning was a blast."Even though he couldn't join the Jedi Council, Hayes still managed to...
Toys from the past 'will fill Christmas stockings'
Toy manufacturers are going back to the future with a relaunch of an Eighties favourite this Christmas. Cabbage Patch Kids, which caused riots in stores in 1983 as frantic parents rushed to buy them, are predicted to be one of the biggest-selling toys this year by the Toy Retailers Association. The retro look continues with the re-emergence of Power Rangers, which first burst onto our television screens ten years ago, and Star wars figures, popular once again with the recent release of two new films and a new DVD box set. And despite all the innovative computer games on offer children are still playing with toys their parents enjoyed as youngsters. Christmas classics such as Cluedo and Monopoly are in the association's top ten this year but for the first time in many years Barbie has had her crown stolen by the street-wise Bratz dolls. However, the annual top ten predictions, whittled down from 60, are not always spot on. Last year three toys predicted by the retailers to be bestsellers failed to make the grade. Bionicles, Boohbah and LeapPad Learning System fell short of being a hit with consumers. In Christmas 2001 only four of...
Star Wars
Tell me what you think about all the movies and which are your favourite character and your favourite actor/actress that plays in this movie? I like the movies a lot and my favourite actress is Natalie Portman and the favourite character maybe R2-D2:D
Other Star Wars project?
We all love Star Wars don't we? We happen to see the six episodes of this film by George Lucas, which made our blood run with great excitement from one episode to another. But after the much awaited 3rd episode which is the Revenge of the Sith, what comes next? Yes, you may say Clone Wars was what's next...but we want something from the REAL characters, for instance from Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman, right?:D
Imagine a star wars Saga with no Obi Wan Kenobi
just imagine there was no obi wan kenobi in the whole star wars saga... who would be qui gon's apprentice? who would train Anakin skywalker? Who would stop him from becoming the dark side?

Star Wars: The Villain of All Villains
Believe me, the most nasty villain in the Star War series must surely be Darth Maul. Yes, the Evil Emperor that evolved from Governor Palpatine is equally tenacious but Darth Maul takes the cake. His face is just a jigsaw of colours and he looks at you with an evil eye. His spear looks like two light sabers fused together. And so for last Halloween, we have many students at the nearby colleges being hooded up to look like this villain. One can knocking at my door and I had to appeased with with sweets and cakes. Did you have such characters dressed up as Darth Maul during the last Halloween?
Star Wars vs Star Trek
I can't see how some people can beleive that Star Trek is better then Star Wars.
