myLot Star Wars Episode III Discussions | | | Star Wars: Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith | | OK, I really don't want to watch this, not after the debacles of "Episode I" and "Episode II".
George Lucas has tainted his legacy--and I'm not just talking about Jar Jar Binks. Maybe he lost it in his old age. Maybe it was better not to have given him unlimited access to technology, because, yeah, 95 percent of the new flicks are either CGI or CGI-tweaked one way or the other. But the crap that was "The Phantom Menace" was amazingly followed by an even worse movie by the name of "Attack of the Clones". So does that mean Boy Band Vader is even worse than Baby Vader? But hey, give Anakin a break he doesn't "like sand".
What even more exasperating is that, somehow, I know I don't have any choice but to watch it since I saw the first two. Call it closure. Call it masochism. Boy, George, you sure fell to the Dark Side of the Force.

| | Tom Cruise Kills Oprah. Does anyone know the origins of the video? | | An anonymous commenter admitted to creating the movie using audio from a downloaded version of Star Wars Episode III. He adds, "The video was created using Adobe Premiere for the shot and sound editing and Adobe After Effects 6.5 for the lightning using the 'advanced lightning' feature."I can confirm that my source originally found it on Shacknews, so this makes sense.
Normally I don't pay too much attention to this sort of celebrity scrambled egg buffet, but the general opinion about Cruise is that part of this problem is due to his firing his long-time (15 years) publicist and hiring, in her place, his sister, Lee Ann Mapother DeVette (his real name is Thomas Cruise Mapother IV). Perhaps in trying to get out from under the thumb of a publicist that used Cruise's bankability to supress negative stories about him and his personality, he unwittingly has exposed himself to the things she was trying to prevent: ridicule, apparent meltdown, disparagement.

| | After Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi, what happen? | | Star Wars Fan out there,
Do you think George Lucas should continue the Star Wars sequel after the Episode 6? or do you guys think it is a comfortable end for the Star Wars story line? For me, I think the episode 6 was ended nicely, but I would like to see more on the rebuilding of the Jedi community again under the leadership of Luke Skywalker.:-)Just my 2 cents.regards,
